In the summertime…

If you were to tell me about a girl who was getting her degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Studies, Allie would not exactly be what I would picture and that is kind of fantastic. She basically leads a double life, partly spending her time in the mud studying things I usually try to avoid and partly being a model while wearing the cutest clothes that make my closet feel quite inferior! The styling behind this shoot was somewhat of a classic summer ease that included cute clothes paired with vintage props. I love the lighting and her little lilac ruffles! Hot Cats on a Tin Roof

If you know me personally then you know I love a good themed anything so when Brent approached me about doing a Elizabeth Taylor inspired shoot, it was an absolute yes! Then came the hard part of setting it all up like finding perfect props, clothing, and location to recreate our decided Cat On A Hot Tin Roof styled shoot. I recently got to work with Live View Studios on one of the most exciting wedding shoots that I've ever gotten to do and I loved it!I'm not sure if it was because it was Brent and Anna (whom I adore) or because the couple, Brandon and Mandy are amazing and so in love. Or if it was the fact that the whole shoot was themed around the 70s and if anyone knows me, they know I love a good theme. And hello! the 70s were groovy! Hot fun in the summertime with Jacqueline!

satins and doilies and beads! Oh My!

This is the part deux of our Roulston Arboretum shoot, the much drier and warmer part considering part one took place outside in rainy weather! When Brent and Anna of Live View Studios initially told me about doing this shoot with Beth, Brent mentioned that he had a few accessories to play around with from a local vendor that they had run across. I got to the shoot and was amazed, a 'few' was not even the word! Anna showed me this massive box full of fun surprises to play with and I was so excited to see all the different ways that we could show them...
