Rock you like a hurricane…

I know that I have been a horrendous blogger as of late. I even have a post it note on my computer of all the blogs that I have not done taunting me daily, I just haven't had the time!  I swear they are coming!!! So today you are getting a little sneaky peak of yesterday's shoot with Live View Studios because it was so fantastic seeing that we had some wicked lighting due to Hurricane Irene blowing into town...

I think Captain and Tennille said it best when they said….

Love, Love will keep us together. Think of me babe whenever! I recently got to work with Live View Studios on one of the most exciting wedding shoots that I've ever gotten to do and I loved it!I'm not sure if it was because it was Brent and Anna (whom I adore) or because the couple, Brandon and Mandy are amazing and so in love. Or if it was the fact that the whole shoot was themed around the 70s and if anyone knows me, they know I love a good theme. And hello! the 70s were groovy! I loved that I got to play with some Twiggy inspired...

Hot fun in the summertime with Jacqueline!

I can't even begin to count how many hours I spent making daisy chains as a little girl and I think that if 7 year old me could see the magic that Anna and I got to create for our latest Live View Studios shoot with Jacqueline, I think she would have been totes jealous! As Anna and I were discussing the look for this shoot, we agreed that keeping Jacqueline's makeup very simple and airy would be best...

Red, white and adoraBlue.

Well it's the 4th of July and what better way to celebrate than posting my latest photo shoot fun with Live View Studios since it has a cute retro Americana vibe to it? When Brent and Anna first asked if I wanted to be a part of this couples shoot with Heather and her boyfriend, Ryan, I was so excited! Hello...

satins and doilies and beads! Oh My!

This is the part deux of our Roulston Arboretum shoot, the much drier and warmer part considering part one took place outside in rainy weather! When Brent and Anna of Live View Studios initially told me about doing this shoot with Beth, Brent mentioned that he had a few accessories to play around with from a local vendor that they had run across. I got to the shoot and was amazed, a 'few' was not even the word! Anna showed me this massive box full of fun surprises to play with and I was so excited to see all the different ways that we could show them...

Over the river and through the woods…

Usually I'm not the kind of girl that enjoys hanging out in the middle of the woods with five complete strangers, in fact this isn't exactly behavior that I would normally condone but I am so glad that I did just recently! I got to play with photography team Brent and Anna of Live View Studios who are just about the most fun people that I have met in a minute, seriously, work with them if you get the chance...

toddlers and tutus

My niece, Haley, is three years old and probably the cutest little girl that I have ever known in my life. Every day when I am getting ready she comes into the bathroom and goes through my makeup and asks me to put some on her. Well one night after watching too many episodes of Toddlers and Tiaras and making this faboosh tutu...
